SheFast ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the SheFast mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: email address, username, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile information: age, weight, and wellness goals you choose to enter.
  • Health & fasting data: fasting start/end times, fasting protocols, weight logs, cycle information, hydration logs, and notes you add.
  • Communications: messages or feedback you send to our support team.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: features accessed, screens viewed, session duration, and in-app interactions.
  • Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
  • Crash & diagnostics data: error logs and performance data to help us fix bugs.
  • IP address and approximate location (country/region level) derived from your network connection.

Information from Third Parties

  • Apple HealthKit: with your explicit permission, we may read or write health data (such as body weight or active energy) to/from Apple HealthKit. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third-party advertisers.
  • Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In: if you choose to sign in through a third-party provider, we receive your name and email address from that provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Personalize your fasting experience and deliver relevant recommendations.
  • Send transactional communications (account confirmations, password resets, subscription receipts).
  • Send optional product updates and tips — you may opt out at any time.
  • Analyze usage trends and app performance to improve features.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support) under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your consent: we will share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; upon deletion we will remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your account and associated personal data.
  • Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt out of marketing communications by tapping "Unsubscribe" in any email or adjusting notification settings in the app.
  • Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

6. Children's Privacy

SheFast is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

7. International Data Transfers

SheFast is operated in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers are located. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
